Our Team
Though we bring different perspectives to the table, we’re united by a belief in providing quality emergency medical care that should be determined between providers and patients, not corporate interests.
Our team is made up of 13 Full-Time Physicians and 8 Full-Time APCs. We serve 2 Emergency Departments in central Alabama - UAB Medical West Hospital and UAB Medical West Freestanding Emergency Room.
We are not a staffing company. We are a group of ER providers who know each other, work together, and care about the future of emergency medicine.
Dr. Denney graduated Johns Hopkins Medical School in 2012 and the University of Cincinnati Emergency Medicine Residency in 2016. A Birmingham native, our Director brings 10 years of professional medical experience to our team. He is dedicated to making the work-life of all of the employees of Bessemer Emergency Physicians as good as it can be.
